The truth is out there...

So... time to talk about what I'm currently watching... X-Files!

I know, I know, it's not a new show.... well, it's actually way too old, lol. But still, one great show! I'm really loving to watch it... I'm currently reaching the end of season two [and to think there is nine!]. This season two don't actually seem that old like season one did... like, season one aired in 1993/94, so there was no mobile phones, no internet... it's actually fun to see this 'old' times.
Mulder and Scully [the two FBI agents signed for the X-Files] couldn't reach each other properly, they had to leave messages in hotels on wherever they were, asking to call back, in those big wired telephones... not to mention the computers in a really rough DOS. It does seem like another era, not only 15 years ago... Oh, but they had DNA tests! Hm, not exactly a proper one like today, but as I can't really talk medicine, let's leave it like that, alright!? hahaha

At first sight, you may think X-Files only deals about ETs, but the show is far from being restrictly about it. Yes, there are a lot of episodes that are indeed centering on extra-terrestrial life/issues, but not only.
One thing - among many - that I find interesting about X-Files, is that watching it, there are some stories/episodes, that are pretty much like in other tv series from now a days. Like, there was this episode about 'genes', where one person in the family was 'bad', so his progeny was 'bad' too. I watched an episode with his same 'logic' on Criminal Minds, which definitelly has nothing to do with X-Files, right? What differenciate the both shows having the same story in an episode, is that in X-Files it went more to the supernatural/fiction area, while Criminal Minds tried a more 'not supernatural' answer.
Still on CM and XF, another link to the both of them, is that in X Files, in their cases, there''s a lot of mentioning about serial killers and how to make an analysis on their behavior, how they pick their victims and why... does it ring any bells to Criminal Minds watchers? haha.
And it's worth mentioning, that X-Files, despite being fiction and with some supernatural things, has also science. I think they can ballance it pretty well, something like 'man of science, man of faith', like we have on Lost as well. In this case, we have Scully, the man of science, or I better say woman, lol. Anyway, she's the skeptical one, always trying to find logic, scientific logic, on things, even when her beliefs and convictions get a little shaken up. Mulder, in the other hand, is our man of faith - aye, he is a man - surelly he analyzes the logical explanation, but it's rarely present when it comes to X-Files...
As I mentioned Lost just now, I'll keep in the subject and say that just yesterday I watched a X-Files episode in which people watching Lost would identify. Y'know, around the internet you'll find a zillion theories about the time on the island, how it runs slow, and for that matter people won't age, - like Richard Alpert - and when they leave the island they do - the most probable cause why Walt has grown, yeah, I know the kid has to grow up and I do hate the paranoia about this matter, but still, it's also something the producers said would be explained, so... - Anyway, the XF episode was about it, in a certain spot in the ocean the time was accelerated, and the supposition was it had been a military experiment using alien thecnology - it happens a lot in XF, the conspiracies about governments hiding such events, having Roswell as the most known. The two agents got old in just a matter of hours de to that... but no, they did not die... there's still seven more season to go from where I've watched, haha.

Another connection with other shows I watch, is Supernatural, naturally. Some of the legends/happenings already mentioned in Supernatural, have been covered in X Files as well, one good example is spirits and posessions... it had in X-Files too... only they don't shoot with salt and preach in latin to do an exorcism, hahaha.

In time, X-Files are those cases about unexplainable things, those which SVU, BAU, CSI couldn't really solve.... LOL.

So let's talk about ETs. Have you ever seen one? And I'm not talking about ET, phone, home on the Spilberg movie, haha.

Would you think I'm crazy if i told you I've seen an ET? No, I'm not kidding now... I did see an ET. And no, he wasn't green, with big eyes [well, big eyes he indeed had] ans skinny. The ET was a bonde guy with big blue eyes driving one fancy blue car, which he stopped when me and my friends were walking back home [I was about 12 or 13], in a express via, where cars could not park, and there was no reason to, since there was no houses, just a block of building with the entrance to another side. Anyway, he parked the car and handed us [we were in three girls] two books about the ETs among us. I've read it, but I don't remember detais about the book, only it was a red one and not that long; but it said how the ETs are, that they are smart, quiet and some other stuff.
Anyway, we were three girls and he only handed us two books before he took off [No, it wasn't night, it wasn't desert and the car did not fly]. i got one book and my friend got other... and there comes the funny thing. Back then, my mum was studying and she talked to one friend of hers about the book and lent it for her to read... Ana's mum [Ana is one frind who was with me that day] was also studying back then... and she took Ana's book to her class, lent it to one of her friends.... neither me nor Ana ever saw those books again... yeah... unfortunatelly they're gone.
Just one hell of a coincidence......? Take your own conclusions, hahaha. =P
And just for the record, it did happen, I did not make this up, alright?

Alright... this post is already way too long... that's why i took so long to write it, haha, I've been meaning to so it looong ago.

Bye bye, see ya in anotha life, brotha - or anotha planet, who knows? haha.

The truth is out there...
